Techeat offers comprehensive training courses for three levels of heat treatment technician certification. The courses meet the standards set by the Heat Treaters Association(HTA), the Quality Control Council of Canada and the provincial government as per the apprentice occupational certification act, OC-97-125. Techeat also offers an "Industry Training Course" targeted at industrial employers who wish to educate their employees on heat treatment requirements and basic operations.

Level I Course:

   Upon completion of the basic entry Level I training program, and with the required hours in the field, the certified heat treatment technician can perform general heat treatment procedures under the guidance of a Level II Technician.

Level II Course:

   A pre-requisite to this course shall be successful completion of the Level I Course, including the required number of hours of field work. After successfully completing this training program, the certified Level II Heat Treatment Technician(Intermediate Level) will be capable of carrying out procedures as developed by the Level III Technician, including such standard setups as preheating, stress relieving, normalizing, annealing and tempering. The Level II Technician can supervise other heat treatment personnel and perform standard heat cycles as dictated by the client and/or management.

Level III Course:

   A pre-requisite of this advanced course shall be the successful completion of the Level I and Level II training programs, including the required number of hours in the field. Upon completion of the Level III program and with the required work experience, the certified heat treatment technician can write and review specific heat treatment procedures, carry out complex heat cycles and perform specialty operations such as heat alignment, heat expansion of interference fit parts, refractory bake out/dry out, case hardening, quench and tempering, plus others. The advanced technician will be qualified to supervise other heat treatment personnel, liaison between the company and the client and make field revisions as they arise. His expertise will be accountable and binding.

Industry Training Course:

   The Industry Training Courses can be given in-house and adapted to the specific needs of industry or a more general overview for employees from different industries.
